False Alarm...

So as of toady, I was supposed to be flying out to Utah on my way to enter the MTC tomorrow. Unfortunately, my plans have changed upon not receiving my VISA. I was definitely struggling with this change of plans last week, but a new perspective has really helped me. I decided that there is a purpose in all things, and if I am not meant to go right now, then it is because Heavenly Father knows better than I do, of what I am supposed to be doing. So instead of mope and complain I have decided to take on some projects to keep me busy! Mom and I are going to start renovating the kitchen and doing things around the house, and I am going to work harder at strengthening my study habits. I have to think of these next 6 weeks as a gift, that I have been given this extra time with my family and friends, and I can't waste a single moment.
So keep me in your prayers, but know that everything is as it should be!
Oh and the date I officially head out, if my VISA comes, is March 12! So, crossing my fingers! Hopefully I can start sooner in the Calgary Mission, and if not, then that is good to. My new motto is now, Go Forth With Faith. And that is exactly what I plan to do.
Also, a HUGE thank you to everyone who came to my farewell this weekend, and who brought food for the potluck, it was a wonderful day and so great to see so many wonderful people! I love you all!!

Still here, waiting patiently!

I NEED YOUR HELP!!

Hello friends and family!

This post is specifically written to ALL OF YOU! I need some help. I'm suppose to be going on my mission this coming week. Unfortunately, my VISA has not come through yet : (. This means that if it still is not here by Monday the 29th, I will be delayed for another 6 WEEKS!!! So, I am asking for prayers. I have true faith that Heavenly Father has a purpose for all of us, and that He truly loves each one of us. I also know He has a plan for us. So, if His plan for me is to wait for another 6 weeks to go the the MTC, then I will accept it. And if His plan for me is to start my mission first in Calgary, THEN Texas, I will also accept it. And if His plan for me is to get my VISA in the nick of time in order to go by the 30th, then I will REALLY accept it! lol. But, I also believe that we need to ask in faith during times like this. SO please pray for me, that things will work out. I have faith, I just need some help!

Thank you all, your support and prayers are so appreciated! <3

Anxiously awaiting my fate.

A Bit O' Me

Just a little taste of me...
Took some pictures with my cousin around the ranch! Saying goodbye to the horses, taking pictures by the old buildings. I'm going to miss this place <3
My first time through the temple..what an incredible experience! I was able to go with quite a few members of my close and extended family, a day I will never forget. This picture is with my parents, my Grandma Hall, and Patriarch Noel Crapo.

Pre-Mission Jitters!

Here I wait, a mere 10 days before my departure date to head to the MTC in Utah, and still I do not have a VISA! I'm sure that I am not the only one who has felt the immense anticipation and stress of awaiting the final paper work to travel, if you have, you know exactly how I'm feeling right now! Either way, its out of my hands, so its time for faith to step in. I've been called to serve in the Texas Lubbock Mission- and could not be any more elated! Texas is honestly the best place they could have chosen for me. I'm looking forward to serving these next 18 months there...now if only my VISA could get her quicker, then I'de know whether or not I will be leaving next Tuesday or not!

-my bags are packed...and I'm ready!
