Clovis New Mexico is bursting with potential, and this week Sister Oswald
and I had many great opportunities to give service, share the gospel, and invite
people to learn more about how they can gain a greater relationship with our
Heavenly Father. Each day this last week has seemed longer than the first, and
by the end of each night I'm exhausted, but then I think, 'And that is why I am
here.' There has been something happen every single day that helps me know that
this is where I'm suppose to be! Some exciting things that have happened is
while helping a family move, I got to see my very first wild scorpion! GAG! it
was awesome! I was sweeping an empty room when low and behold this creepy little
guy started scurrying towards me! I think I jumped about 2 feet high and gave
everyone in the house a heart attack haha, who knew I was such a Pansy! One of
the other missionaries came to the rescue and stepped on it before i could calm
down and take a picture...sorry haha, maybe next time I see one I'll get lucky.
However, I did see a spider the size of a crab apple, and that time I DID take a
picture! Did I mention how much I love Canada?
But the Pests don't
bother me none, the people make up for the creepy crawlers. I love the people
here a ton! They're taking great care of me.
Love you all!
Sister Hall
