This letter's going to be short this week sorry!
Way cool experience happened after church yesterday. We have been having a
state wide fast for rain today, the country around here is desperate for
moisture. I prayed in our apartment after church that we could have enough faith
to make it rain. Seconds later we stepped out of the apartment and a small cloud
over head started sprinkling rain. It only lasted 4 minutes, but it touched my
heart that Heavenly Father heard our prayers. It was almost like He was saying,
you have faith, the times not right for all the rain to come, but i wanted you
to know I heard you. such a great experience. I truly am still loving serving a
mission, it hasn't been an easy week, I have been pushing hard, and the results
of our efforts are coming slowly but surely. We also have gone 2 weeks without
groceries since last monday was the 5th of the month so that was interesting
haha, thank goodness mom taught me be buy stuff so I can be prepared! We ate our
last bit of food yesterday and now get to go shopping ; D the Lord is watching
over us...Don't worry Mom I'm fine and haven't gone hungry once...minus fasting
: )
We are working with a couple wonderful families, not bap dates solid yet
but they have so much potential. I am so blessed to be here and to have these
experiences, I made it through my first transfer and now have so much to look
forward to! Bring on the next 16 1/2 months lol. My prayers go out to Uncle
Leland, He' s been in my every prayer, I am so impressed with the family and how
well you all have been able to come together. Families are our most important
unit here, and its our job to uplift and support one another. I wouldn't be
where i am without you all. <3
I better go, I love you all and am greatful for you.
Take care!
Sister Hall
